Job Announcement: Administrative Coordinator
We are seeking a Part-Time Administrative Coordinator to support the Licking Land Trust. This is a crucial role for a highly organized and self-motivated individual who can provide essential administrative and logistical support to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication & Coordination: Help facilitate communication among Board members, committees, and partners. This includes preparing and distributing newsletters, reports, and other materials. You will also assist with coordinating committee work and supporting our staff.
Administrative & Financial Support: Provide administrative assistance for fundraising, grant-seeking, and community outreach initiatives. You will also manage record-keeping systems, handle office purchasing, and process payments. You'll work closely with our Treasurer on financial record-keeping, reporting, and interacting with our external accountants.
Meeting Management: Offer technical and logistical support for Board of Trustees meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and other necessary documents.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in a nonprofit organization, real estate, title, or paralegal work, or accounting is a plus.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. The ability to develop and manage budgets is also preferred.
Technical Proficiency: You should be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and various social media platforms. Experience with QuickBooks for financial record-keeping is also preferred.
Working Conditions
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week. The schedule can be flexible, but some evenings and weekends will be required for events and meetings. The role is a hybrid of in-office and remote work, with the Project Coordinator expected to be present at our Granville, Ohio, office as needed. As the primary point of contact for the organization, you will be a key part of our workflow and daily operations.
